Hotel Spotlight: Miami's Grand Beach Hotel
I drove down to Miami for a tennis tournament! I knew I wouldn't be spending too much time at the hotel, but my mom + I wanted somewhere relaxing to go back to after long days on the hot tennis courts. After a bit of research, I chose Grand Beach Hotel's Surfside location. I was SO pleased!
The hotel is right on the beach in Bal Harbour, a clean, quiet part of town, with all of the amenities that made me want to double the length of my stay! When we walked in the attendants were kind + made us feel comfortable. The lobby is an open floor plan that introduces you to the hotel's super contemporary, yet coastal vibe. There is modern art on the walls, marble tile, and a driveway lined with palms.
Because I was there for the tennis, I didn't get time to step foot on the beach. (Boo!) The access to the beach is really convenient and private compared to South Beach or other popular Miami neighborhoods. It also made a stellar backdrop for my room service balcony breakfasts! The food I ordered was pretty tasty. As a foodie myself, I was even impressed with the plating for room service. I am honestly craving their papaya + mango parfait right this moment! Mmmm..
