Summer '19 Dress Round-Up
Summer dresses are my thing! I love a feminine, flowy summer gown with detail. I've seen bunches that I want this year, but after the sustainable fashion event that I attended in Amsterdam, I know I don't need them all! So, I decided to do a round-up of some for my girls! I've included dresses for different occasions. Of course, you can wear them for lots of different things, but this is what came to mind first when I saw each dress! 1 Coastal Vacay: This bohemian, smocked dress would look stunning for a night out at la playa! I'd style it with a straw bag, gold jewelry, and beachy waves.
2 Summer Wedding: Are you invited to a summer wedding this year, but have nothing to wear? This dress is ideal because it's bright + fun enough to wear all season long, but also sophisticated enough to dress up with a heeled sandal for the ceremony.
3 Out to Dinner: I am so obsessed with this dress. It is number one on my list of dresses I should have in my closet from Reformation right now. I'm waiting for a fun invite, so I can justify the purchase! Ha! How gorgeous is it, though?! I love how it's fitted with such a delicate ruffle.
4 Girl's Brunch: Of course, this can be a day-to-night piece! There's no outfit that screams summer like a yellow floral mini dress. I would even wear it with a strappy, flat sandal and my hair up in a middle-parted pony.
5 Date Night:This dress gives me all of the romantic *summer love* vibes. The slit paired with the gorgeous neckline and the oh so popular puff sleeves, creates the timeless, midi dress of my dreams!
6 Family Getaway:This one's for the preppy girls! In the summer we always visit a country club in North Carolina. This is a super appropriate dress for something like that because of the high neck and modest length. Click the photo to see the same dress in blue!
7 Beach Weekend:Here is a cover-up for the beach-goers! Even though I'm so tempted by funky summer prints instead, it drives me nuts when my colorful suit clashes with the cover-up. A bright white dress like this one can go over so many suits!
8 Rosé Rendezvous: Here's my dress! Full disclosure... I found it during winter on the clearance rack at Macy's. I think you may be able to still snag one, though!
